Linsanity Takes New York by Storm!

JEREMY LIN, the newest addition to the NEW YORK KNICKS, has become an international phenomenon who has brought excitement back to New York basketball. The 6’3″ Chinese-American POINT GUARD has been a part of the NEW YORK KNICKS team for 7 games, and has played a huge role in the KNICKS current 7 game winning streak. In his first 6 games as a KNICK, JEREMY LIN scored over 20 points, and in last night’s game he had 10 points with 13 assists.

The HARVARD UNIVERSITY alum went from sleeping on his brother’s couch to  becoming one of the most popular names in the world. NEW YORK KNICKS fans have been drawn to both MADISON SQUARE GARDEN and sports bars around the city to cheer on the team, while it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the JEREMY LIN jerseys that have been flying off the shelves. Games are being broadcasted live across Taiwan and China. The NEW YORK TIMES reports that popular restaurant THE SHAKE SHACK has named a shake after him – the “Lin-Mint,” and PRESIDENT OBAMA was heard raving about JEREMY LIN on MARINE ONE. The KNICKS and KNICKS FANS have coined the phrase “LINSANITY” and home made posters have been popping up at the games – all containing new phrases and slogans incorporating the POINT GUARD’s last name. Even CHARLIE SHEEN is being affected by “LINSANITY” – the star was tweeting about JEREMY LIN and closed out the tweet with “LINNING,” a spin-off of his now infamous “WINNING” phrase.

The NEW YORK KNICKS next game will be at home tomorrow- Friday, February 17th, against the NEW ORLEANS HORNETS. It has been said that CARMELO ANTHONY could be returning to the game against the NEW ORLEANS HORNETS, and fans are anxious to see what JEREMY LIN & CARMELO ANTHONY can do together.
